Zaytoun gains Special Presentation entry at TIFF

Eran Riklis' Zaytoun will appear in the 'Special Presentation' category at Toronto International Film Festival 2012, lining up alongside the latest work from Terrence Malick, Gosta-Gavras, Jacques Audiard, Francois Ozon, Chen Kaige and Dustin Hoffman.

The King's Speech got off to a promising start at TIFF in 2010, where it won the People's Choice Award, and we are delighted to have our next film feature at the festival.

Zaytoun stars Stephen Dorff as an Israeli fighter pilot shot down over Lebanon, who must submit to the help of an angry Palestinian boy, played by Abdallah El Akal, in order to get home again. The film was produced by Bedlam's Gareth Unwin, along with Fred Ritzenberg of Far Films.

Full details of the TIFF screenings will follow but the festival is due to take place from the 6 - 16 September.
